Cooking is my passion. There is almost nothing I love more than throwing dinner parties for my friends and coming up with wonderful and creative dishes. The combination of the creative process, the planning and preparation of the dishes, and the act of giving to my friends is quite simply very rewarding. The intensity and focus that cooking requires is also extremely satisfying. I've had the privilege of cooking with some of the most amazing home cooks and chefs around the world and here in the Bay Area, and I bring that knowledge and expertise to every dish that I make. What a great evening! Our virtual cooking class had 12 people joining from 4 locations and James did a great job of keeping everyone engaged and following his lead. He was entertaining, knowledgeable, extremely patient and kind. Bonus: the paella was the best we've ever had!
An exquisite Victorian in the Mission was the setting for a memorable and delicious dinner featuring the pastas and sauces from the Barilla Co., enhanced and demonstrated by Chef James. Beginning with an amazing cheese and charcuterie appetizer, the marinara cream sauce and the chef’s meatballs were particularly outstanding.
